TCC Assets and Frasers Property announced that One Bangkok, a commercial complex they have been developing in central Bangkok, will open on October 25.
One of the largest private development projects in Thailand with a total investment of US$3.2 billion, it is located in Lumpini, Bangkok’s commercial district. On a prime site of approximately 170,000 m2 (about 4 times the size of the Tokyo Dome), the project includes three shopping areas, five premium office towers, and five hotels, including Bangkok’s first “The Ritz-Carlton” and “Andaz”.
The 80,000 m2 of lush public space includes three luxury residential towers and a variety of art and cultural spaces. A 2km promenade around the development area will feature permanent public art by world-renowned artists.
In the shopping area, the first Mitsukoshi store in Thailand, “MITSUKOSHI DEPACHIKA” will open. Based on the concept of a Japanese “Depachika” (department store), the store will sell foodstuffs from Japan and around the world. The “Food Loop,” a 1.5-km food hall with 250 restaurants, will offer a wide variety of gourmet foods from fine dining to Bangkok’s famous food stalls.
