The opportunity to become General Manager of “Holiday Inn Express Osaka City Center Midosuji” arose when I wanted to apply my extensive hospitality experience to Japan. The brand’s concept of “sophistication and simplicity” strongly aligns with my passion for providing guests with memorable experiences, and I am grateful for the opportunity to further grow professionally as General Manager. I look forward to working as a team to deliver smooth and pleasant service to travelers from around the world.

Samhara Shrine, located only a 10-minute walk from the hotel, is a hidden gem known for its powerful benefits that protect against mishaps and bad luck. In the quiet atmosphere, worshippers come to seek peace of mind. Especially popular is a ring-shaped amulet called “Goshin Kanmori,” which is widely believed to protect against misfortune.
–What restaurant menu do you recommend?
All guests can enjoy this free breakfast. We especially recommend the miso soup made with “Rokko Miso” from the local Kansai region. Each region has its own unique miso, so please enjoy the taste of the Kansai region. For those who do not have time to eat at the breakfast room, we also offer a “Grab & Go” service that allows you to take out bread, whole fruits, and drinks.
–What souvenirs do you recommend?
If you are looking for a unique souvenir from Osaka, Minamore’s “Takoyaki Look-alike Cookies” are a good choice. These cookies look just like takoyaki, but they are milk-flavored and have a hollowness texture. The cute takoyaki shape and realistic toppings make these cookies a wonderful gift with a playful Osaka spirit.
