NEXCO East Japan and the Chiba Aqualine Marathon Executive Committee Secretariat will close the Tokyo Bay Aqualine and the Tokyo Bay Aqualine connecting road to traffic on November 10 in conjunction with the “Chiba Aqualine Marathon 2024”.
The closed sections are from Sodegaura IC to Kawasaki Ukishima JCT (uphill) and from Kawasaki Ukishima JCT to Kisarazu Kanada IC (downhill) on the Tokyo Bay Aqualine and Tokyo Bay Aqualine connecting road. The closure period is from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on November 10.
The Umihotaru PA will also be closed from 6:00 to 13:30. Parking lots will also be closed.
Vehicle traffic will be restricted near the marathon course, which will also include the area around Mitsui Outlet Park Kisarazu and Kisarazu Station. For details, please refer to the “Chiba Aqualine Marathon 2024|” website for traffic regulation information.
The Marathon Executive Committee Secretariat also recommends bypassing the Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway by taking the Tokyo Bay Ferry, which operates between Kurihama Port and Kanaya Port.
