Sony Creative Products will release collaborative goods featuring the penguin character Pingu and Tuxedo Sam at the Pingu POP UP STORE currently being held at the Shinjuku branch of Keio Department Store (1-1-4 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) on November 13.
Swiss-born Pingu, who will celebrate his 45th birthday in 2025, and Sanrio’s Tuxedo Sam, who will celebrate his 45th birthday in 2024, created illustrations to celebrate their meeting and birth to each other, and created a line of acrylic key chains, pens, hair combs, smartphone shoulder straps, pass cases, medicine notebooks, and clear files. A postcard will be given away to those who spend 2,000 yen or more including tax.
Pingu’s POP UP STORE will be held at Pirates Factory Gifts on the 7th floor of Keio Department Store Shinjuku from October 17 to December 4.
