NEXCO East Japan has launched the “Winter Pass 2025,” a discounted expressway fare package for ETC vehicles only. There are two types of plans: a set plan and a round-trip plan.

(The period from December 2 to April 7, 2025, can be used for a maximum of two or three consecutive days (not available from December 26, 812 to January 5, 2025). Applications can be made through the company’s website “DRAPLA Travel” and “DRAPLA”.

The set plan allows unlimited use of the expressway from the origin area to the destination area for a maximum of two consecutive days when using the Winter Pass and “accommodation or lift ticket” as a set, or for a maximum of three days for the Zao plan only, at a fixed price. In addition to the six plans to/from the Tokyo metropolitan area that went on sale last year, five new plans departing from/arriving at Sendai, Niigata, and Mito have been added.

The round-trip plan allows one round-trip expressway trip from the origin/destination area to the destination area for a fixed price within a maximum of three consecutive days. Nineteen plans are available for each destination area, starting and ending in the Tokyo metropolitan area, Sendai, and Niigata.

In addition, the company offers discount services and other preferential offers and survey gifts in cooperation with target ski resorts, lodging facilities, hot spring facilities, tourist facilities, and SA/PAs in the vicinity of the destination area.

If you apply for and use DoraWari for a weekday-only usage period, the company is also running a campaign that grants an additional 15% of the DoraWari sales price in ETC Mileage Points.
