ANA Trading released retro-motif goods featuring ANA’s former corporate symbol.
The lineup includes a set of five stickers (1,000 yen), a mug (2,000 yen), and a tote bag (3,000 yen). Different designs are available at ANA’s official e-commerce sites “A-style” and “A-style ANA Mall Store” where they are sold, and at the shopping site “ANA STORE@SKY” accessible from ANA Wi-Fi Service in domestic flights and lounges.
The former corporate symbol was the “da Vinci mark,” which was a design based on Leonardo da Vinci’s original sketch of a helicopter, and was used from 1952 to 1982. The airline code “NH,” which is currently used by ANA, is also derived from the Nippelli mark.
ANA original retro motif goods are designed with the image of the main planes and mohawk-looked airplanes at the time of All Nippon Airways’ inauguration. They are recommended as souvenirs and gifts not only for aviation fans, but also for those who know about that era and those who do not.
