Mamurogawa Town, Mogami County, Yamagata Prefecture, will hold the “Mamurogawa Station 120th Anniversary Project Campaign” from November 1 to 30, offering points worth up to 10% for cashless payments.
Up to 5,000 points (equivalent to 5,000 yen) will be returned for each payment service during the period if you use “d-payment”, “auPAY (code payment)”, “PayPay”, or “AEON Pay” at participating stores in the town during the period. The total amount of points will be up to 20,000 points (equivalent to 20,000 yen) for four cashless payment services.
Mamurogawa Station on the JR Ou Main Line opened in 1904. Together with Kamabuchi and Oitomi Stations, which also celebrate their 120th anniversary this year, a Thanksgiving Festival will be held on November 3 at the Mamurogawa Station Square. Visitors can enjoy sales of local agricultural and livestock products, a kitchen car, a mini SL ride, imoni (stewed sweet potato stew), a tent sauna experience, and more.
