Kintetsu Corp. will release “Ise Jingu Hatsumode Discount Ticket,” a convenient ticket for Hatsumode at Ise Jingu Shrine and other shrines during the year from November 15 to December 31.
The package includes a free train ticket that allows unlimited travel between Matsusaka and Kashima stations, two exchange tickets for express tickets for the free section, and discount offers at tourist facilities. Two types of tickets are available: one includes an exchange ticket for a round-trip express ticket from Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, or Nagoya, and the other does not include an express ticket.
The Kansai version with a round-trip express ticket is priced at 5,800 yen, and the Tokai version at 5,200 yen (half price for children). Six types of tickets without a round-trip express ticket are available, ranging from 1,100 yen to 3,300 yen, including 2,700 yen from Yamato Yagi Station and Kashihara Jingumae Station, and 2,300 yen from Kuwana Station and Haibara Station (half price for children).
Both are available from December 30 to January 31, 2025.
The ticket includes an exchange ticket for a zodiac sign ornament at Ise Jingu Shrine and an entry postcard for winning specialties of Ise-Shima.
