Hanshin Electric Railway to Launch “Hanshin Version Hatsumode Discount Ticket for Ise Jingu Shrine” this year again. Limited New Year’s Eve and New Year tickets with a commemorative gift.

Hanshin Electric Railway and Kinki Nippon Railway will release “Hanshin Version Ise Jingu Hatsumode Discount Ticket” and “Hanshin/Kintetsu New Year 1-day Ticket” from the end of 2024 to 2025.

The “Hanshin Version Ise Jingu Hatsumode Discount Ticket” includes a free train ticket between Matsuzaka and Kenshima stations, two limited express ticket exchange tickets for the free section, a return ticket from Osaka Namba station to the free section, a limited express ticket exchange ticket, and a free train ticket for all Hanshin Railway lines (excluding Kobe Kosoku Line). The package also includes a ticket that can be exchanged for a zodiac sign (year of the snake) ornament at Ise Jingu Shrine and an entry postcard for a chance to win specialties from Ise-Shima.

The sale period is from November 15 to December 31, and the period of use is from December 30 to January 31, 2025, and is valid for three days from the start of the ride (or until January 31 if the ride starts after January 30). The ticket is only available for adults and is priced at 6,300 yen.

The “Hanshin/Kintetsu New Year 1-day Ticket” allows unlimited one-day travel on all Hanshin Railway lines (including Kobe Kosoku Line) and Kintetsu Railway lines between Osaka Namba Station and Kintetsu Nara Station and between Torii-mae Station and Ikoma-zanjo Station. The ticket also includes an exchange ticket for a “prayer offering” at one of Nishinomiya Shrine, Ikuta Shrine, Minatogawa Shrine, or Nagata Shrine, and an exchange ticket for a “omikuji” at one of Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Ikoma Shoten (Hozanji Temple), Ishikiri Tsurugi Shrine, or Hiraoka Shrine.

It will be on sale from November 15 to January 11, 2025, and available from January 1 to 11, 2025. This is also for adults only, priced at 1,700 yen, and will be available in a limited edition of 3,000.
