Tokyo Banana World” operated by GrapeStone, in collaboration with JR Tokai, has been selling additional “Tokyo Banana & Doctor Yellow Collaboration Bag” since today, November 20. The bags come with a special pouch and are priced at 1,000 yen each.
Applications will be accepted on the “EX Destination Reservation” website and exchanged at the JR Tokai Tours Tokyo Branch Ticket Office (next to the ticket gate of Tokyo Station Shinkansen Yaesu South Exit) (not by mail). The redemption period is from December 1 to March 31, 2025.
The collaboration was realized in commemoration of Doctor Yellow (T4 train owned by JR Tokai), which is scheduled to be retired in January 2025, under the theme “I found the yellow of happiness! When the product went on sale in September, 1,000 units were sold out immediately, and the decision was made to sell additional units at short notice after the product attracted a great deal of attention on social networking sites.
The eco-bag measures approximately 33 x 9 x 47 cm, and the accompanying storage pouch measures approximately 7 x 4.5 x 10.5 cm (both in width x depth x height). Both sides of the bag have a cute design, with the Tokyo Banana logo and Doctor Yellow alternating on the front and Tokyo Banana and Doctor Yellow docked on the back. The storage pouch comes with a carabiner, so it can be attached to your own bag or backpack as an accessory.
