JR East Trading, JR Tokai Trading, and JR West Trading will release on November 29 the first collaborative product from the three companies, “Tokaido Shinkansen Recycled Aluminum” ice cream spoons, a set of three spoons with designs of the E5 Series Hayabusa, Type 923 Doctor Yellow, and 500 Series Shinkansen, priced at 4,400 yen.
This spoon is made of eco-friendly material recycled from aluminum used in the Tokaido Shinkansen bullet train. Aluminum has high thermal conductivity, so the warmth of your hand is transferred to the ice cream through the spoon, making it easy to eat even hard ice cream. Manufactured in Tsubame-Sanjo (Tsubame City and Sanjo City), which is famous for its hardware manufacturing, the box lid and the back of the spoon are also designed with the Tsubame logo mark.
