HORONIC will open its first new hotel in the Tokai region, tentatively named CETRAY Nagoya (tentative name), in the spring of 2026.

Nagoya Station Kaihatsu, Chubu Civil Engineering, and MARU ARCHITECTURE are participating in the “NAKAGAWA CANAL DOORS (tentative name)” (opening in spring 2026), a development project in the Nakagawa Canal Horikome district, which aims to create an “urban oasis where one can feel the port and culture”. It is located in Ungawacho, Nakagawa Ward, Nagoya City (within the Sasashima Live 24 Land Readjustment Project site of the Nagoya City Urban Planning Project), a 20-minute walk from Nagoya Station.

The three-story building will have a total of 24 guest rooms of three types, and the building will feature a restaurant and lobby lounge, as well as a music and library lounge, a rooftop terrace, hot bath facilities (bath and sauna), and a kombucha lab.

This will be the sixth hotel under the SETRE brand of community hotels. Located in an urban redevelopment area of Nagoya, which is an extension of daily life in terms of business, shopping, and urban leisure, the hotel is unlikely to be a resort or purpose-built hotel, The hotel is planned to be a “high value-added” hotel where the stay itself becomes the purpose of the visit.
