Emirates unveils its first Airbus A350 aircraft. New 3-class aircraft with next-generation Business Class and Pre-Eco

Emirates Airlines held a special event and exhibition in Dubai on November 27 to officially unveil the first Airbus A350-900, the newest addition to its fleet. The new A350 will feature 32 next-generation business class seats with lie-flat seats, 21 premium economy class seats, and 259 spacious inter-seat economy class seats, for a total of 312 seats in three classes. Currently, the airline operates two types of aircraft, a wide-body Boeing 777 and a double-decker Airbus A380, to 140 destinations worldwide, but the introduction of the first A350, one for regional routes and the other for ultra-long-haul routes, will enable the airline to reach new destinations worldwide, including medium-sized airports that are not suitable for larger aircraft, and The first flight will be scheduled for January 1, 2025. The first flight is scheduled to begin scheduled service on the Edinburgh route on January 3, 2025. Within the next few months, flights will operate to existing Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region cities such as Bahrain, Muscat, and Kuwait; Lyon and Bologna in Europe; and Colombo, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad in West Asia. The airline will also serve new destinations within 15 hours of Dubai. Details will be announced in 2025, the company said.

Emirates A350 “Economy Class” The A350’s Economy Class, like the latest Emirates 777 and A380 aircraft, will feature seats in a fresh and elegant light blue color tone fabric and high-grade bronze armrests. In early 2025, new six-way adjustable headrests will be introduced to support a comfortable and restful sleep. 259 seats, 3-3-3 configuration for easy aisle access.

Emirates A350 “Premium Economy Class” All 65 of the upcoming Emirates A350 aircraft will be equipped with the popular Premium Economy Class. The spacious leather reclining seats seat 21 passengers in a 2-3-2 configuration with full leg and foot rests and adjustable headrests. It is said to offer a “travel experience comparable to business class” on many other airlines “at an attractive price. The seats will feature charging ports, side cocktail tables, 13.3-inch monitors, generously sized pillows and blankets, as well as complimentary amenity kits (on select flights) and a pre-Eco exclusive sparkling wine, Chandon Vintage Brut 2017.
