The Kyun♥ Pass is a special pass that allows unlimited rides on Shinkansen bullet trains, limited express trains, and ordinary and rapid trains within the JR East free area. The new “2 consecutive days” version, which allows unlimited rides for 18,000 yen, is now on sale. It can now be used not only for weekday day trips but also for overnight trips.
JR East will launch the “JR East Tabikyun♥ Early-bird Pass” (a.k.a. “Kyun♥ Pass”), a weekday-only product that supports economical weekday travel, through Ekinet on January 13, 2012.

*Not available on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (for 2-day use, not available from Friday to Saturday and from Sunday to Monday).
Sales period: 1 month to 14 days prior to the first day of use

Applicable routes: All JR East, Aoimori Railway, Iwate Galaxy Railway, Sanriku Railway, Hokuetsu Kyuko, and Echigo Tokimeki Railway lines (between Naoetsu and Arai), unreserved seats on Shinkansen and limited express trains, ordinary and rapid trains, and BRT.
*If you have your seat reserved in advance, you can board a Shinkansen or limited express train up to two times for one day, and up to four times for two days.
Various campaigns were also launched to coincide with the launch of the Kyun ♥ Pass.
From February 13 to March 13, 300 winners drawn from among those who purchase the Kyun ♥ Pass (for 2 days) and Ekinetto “Inn Only Plan” and make an overnight trip on a weekday will receive a 10,000 yen discount coupon for the next “JR East View Dynamic Rail Pack”.
From January 13 to February 27, 30,000 JRE points will be awarded to 1,000 winners drawn from among those who purchase the Kyun ♥ Pass with a JRE BANK Debit.
From February 13 to March 13, 100 people will be selected by lottery to win 10,000 JRE points (one entry for a cumulative total of 1,000 yen spent) if they purchase a Kyun ♥ Pass, enter the campaign on the JRE POINT website, and make purchases with their registered Suica or other electronic money during the period.
In addition, Kyun♥ Pass purchasers can take advantage of discounts at NewDays, Lumine, Ekinka stores such as Station Rent-a-Car, and restaurants and bars directly managed by JR East Hotels.
The “Kyun ♥ Pass” website will gradually post details, model courses, special offers, campaigns, and more.
