Bibbidi Babbidi Boutique Tokyo Disneyland World Bazaar, a beauty salon that fulfills the dreams of children who long to become Disney princesses, opened in the park in 2017, following the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel in 2008. In addition to offering a princess makeover, the salon also has a photo studio for family photo shoots.
Tokyo Disneyland reopened the park’s Bibbidi Babbidi Boutique Tokyo Disneyland World Bazaar on December 13, after four years since it was suspended in 2020.
A new coronation dress from the movie “Anna and the Snow Queen” is available!
The Bibbidi Babbidi Boutique has added two new premium dresses in the crowning design of the movie “Anna and the Snow Queen” in time for the reopening of business on December 13. The store now offers six types of dresses and three types of premium dresses, and is preparing to make sure that the wishes of the next princess to visit will be fulfilled.
This time, we were able to observe the princesses who chose the new Elsa (premium dress) and “Belle” dresses. First, after arriving at the Beauty Salon and checking in at the reception desk, they practiced their greetings and confirmed the dresses they would be wearing on the day of the event. They practiced saying “Gokigenyo” and lifting the hem of their dresses.
Next, you will change into your dress in the dressing room and take one step up the stairs to becoming a princess. Go to the back of the boutique with a professional cast member. Here you can experience both authentic hair and makeup with the addition of shadows and blush. Nails are also done with children’s nail polish. You can truly become a princess from your hair to your fingertips and even your gestures.
They will use water-soluble nail polish and nail stickers to create the look they want. Since you will not be able to look in the mirror during this time, you will have to wait until later to see your transformation into a princess.
After being hung with a sash exclusive to the Bibbidi Babbidi Boutique, you will be transformed with the magic words familiar from the movie “Cinderella”! Turn around to the mirror to see the finished product. For the first time, you will be able to see yourself as a princess.
After transforming into a princess, you will sign a “Princess Certificate”. Depending on the course, the guests will be taken to a photo shoot. The “Castle Course” (37,950 yen, 63,800 yen if a premium dress is selected) allows you to enjoy a princess photo shoot with just you, while the “Kingdom Course” (40,150 yen, 60,000 yen if a premium dress is selected) offers two photo shoots: a family photo shoot and a princess photo shoot. (40,150 yen, 60,000 yen with premium dress selection), and photography courses are available.
There is also a “Carriage Course” (29,150 yen, 55,000 yen for a premium dress) that includes dress and shoes, hair and makeup, make-up, and manicure. Advance reservations and a ticket allowing admission to the park on the day of the event are required.
