On December 18, NAA (Narita International Airport) and Market Enterprise concluded a business alliance for the reuse of unwanted items generated at the airport. The partnership will offer hard-to-find retired airport goods for sale to the general public.
Market Enterprise’s reuse platform “Oikura” is currently being used by more than 200 municipalities to build a system for reusing unwanted items. Through this partnership, the company hopes to promote the appeal of reuse to aviation enthusiasts by selling retired airport goods, which are hard to find and have a low circulation to begin with.
Future plans include handling “aviation lights,” “latitude and longitude indicator lights,” “spot number indicator lights,” and other items that are difficult to obtain because there are only a few remaining, such as those that have ended their roles due to system changes.
