Within the Free Pass area, you can freely take any ordinary train (including rapid trains) of JR lines, designated routes of each railway and bus company lines, and Tokyo Bay Ferry.
Limited express trains on JR lines can be used with limited express tickets or “Conventional Line Ticketless Limited Express Ticket Service”, while Keisei Electric Railway and Hokuso Railway’s Skyliner, Evening Liner and Morning Liner can be used with liner tickets or “Liner Ticketless Service”.
The ticket includes a round-trip ticket from any station in the Tokyo metropolitan area to any station in the free area on the JR line and a free pass.
Also, by presenting your Free Pass/Free Ride ticket at participating stores and facilities, you can receive “Thank You ♥ Privilege” services such as discounts at NewDays and restaurants, free rental bicycles, and more.
