Seiko Watch will release the “Heritage Collection Ginza Limited Edition” from Grand Seiko, inspired by the winter scene in Ginza, at six stores in Ginza on January 17. The price is 990,000 yen and the quantity is limited to 500 pieces.
The dial is decorated with light gold gradations and stamped patterns to resemble show windows and the illuminated streets of Ginza, while the power reserve at the 7-8 o’clock position is white to represent snow.
The movement is the Caliber 9R65, a spring drive movement assembled at the Shinshu Toki no Takumi Kobo. The case and bracelet are bright titanium, the glass is dual-curved sapphire glass, and the watch is water resistant to 10 atmospheres.
The back cover with see-through back is engraved with the words “GINZA LIMITED EDITION”.
In addition, purchasers of this model during the period from January 9 to 31 will receive an original furoshiki (wrapping cloth) with an index pattern as a bonus. Those who purchase a watch other than this model at the following six stores will also receive an original ballpoint pen at the “Grand Seiko Fair in GINZA”.
