Tokyo Disneyland will hold “Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World” as the third installment of the special event Disney Palpalooza from January 15 to March 16. The parade was unveiled to the press today, January 14.
A must-see entertainment plagram that will be held exclusively at the event is “It’s a Sweetheartful Time!” that will be performed once a day on the parade route (six floats, approximately 35 minutes). This parade is based on the concept of “a colorful resort made entirely of sweets,” as envisioned by Vanellope in the movie “Sugar Rush.
The parade starts with Vanellope on a float that resembles a candy castle. It is a delicious visual with lots of cream, wafers, cakes, and candies.
Next on the parade route is a float that resembles a fruit tart-style live stage with a rock band led by Mickey Mouse playing confectionery instruments to enliven the parade. Mickey Mouse is the main vocalist of the rock band in a strawberry motif costume. Once you hear Mickey’s singing voice, you will fall in love with its charm. It is cool to see Donald Duck, Chip and Dale playing guitars and wind instruments!
Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck, dressed as tour guides, will arrive on a float that resembles a gallery. The guests will be thrilled to see their sweet creations displayed in the gallery. The sweets-colored costumes decorated with chocolate and macaroons are also sure to attract attention. In fact, the costumes this time are based on the motif of each float’s sweets.
In addition, the parade will have a part where you can stop and enjoy dancing with the guests. Enjoy the world of sweets with the best visuals while playing hand games together. Stops are located in Western Land, Fantasyland Plaza Tomorrowland, and Toontown.
The parade is covered by the “Disney Premier Access” (2,500 yen). You can also enjoy the parade from designated viewing seats (area) for a fee.
