Tokyo Disneyland will hold its third Disney Palpalooza, “Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World,” from January 15 to March 16.
During the period, the park will be transformed into a world of sweets based on the theme of the world made of sweets envisioned by Vanellope in the Disney movie “Sugar Rush. Of course, the special menu also has a sweet look and taste.
Recommended as a must-see menu item that should not be missed when visiting the event is the “Sweet Pop World Sundae” (850 yen each). Three flavors with different colors and tastes are available: “Ice Cream Cone” with strawberry jelly, “Racetti’s Raccoon Saloon” with lime jelly, and “Squeezer’s Tropical Juice Bar” with strawberry, chocolate, and mango based on orange jelly. The “Racetti’s Raccoon Saloon” is based on lime jelly.
This time, we tried the Sweet Pop World Sundae (lime jelly) at Racetti’s Raccoon Saloon in Critter Country.
The lime jelly had a refreshing taste and was filled with dark chocolate and milk soft serve. Crunchy flakes also provided a textural accent. The churros-like snacks boldly placed on top are very satisfying. The chocolate-covered and sprayed chocolate snacks are also cute. It would be cute to photograph them side by side with other colored cups.
This sundae is actually inspired by the float in the event’s limited parade, “It’s a Fruitful Time! parade. Please check out the parade and see if you can find any similarities.
