British Flower Garden where you can meet “Peter Rabbit” on Awaji Island from March 20. Recreate the world of the picture book.

Posted on 2025-01-272025-03-12 by Editor in Chief

The Awaji Flower Expo 25th Anniversary Commemorative Events Executive Committee will open the “Peter Rabbit Flower Garden” at the Minami Awaji site (Awaji Farm Park, England’s Hill) in conjunction with the Awaji Hanamidori Fair 2025 to be held on Awaji Island. The period is from March 20 to September 19.

The world depicted in Peter Rabbit’s picture book is recreated in the English Rose Garden area in Awaji Farm Park England’s Hill (1401 Yagiyogami, Minami-Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture), a sightseeing farm where visitors can enjoy interacting with nature and animals.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a different atmosphere in the garden, with its well-groomed flowerbeds, spacious lawns, and diverse plants that are characteristic of English gardens. There will also be a photo spot, “Uncle McGregor’s Field” from the story, and a standing statue.

The Awaji Flower and Greenery Fair 2025 will be held throughout the island (March 20-April 27) under the theme “Living with Nature, Connecting Life on Awaji Island. The three main venues are Awaji (Awaji Yumebutai and National Akashi Kaikyo Park), Sumoto (Sumoto City Center), and Minami Awaji (Awaji Farm Park, England’s Hill).
