Amazon (Amazon Japan) is having a time sale on Iwatani’s “My Warm” cassette gas stove (portable type). Normally priced at 12,800 yen, it is 22% off at 9,980 yen at the time of writing.
This compact, indoor-only cassette gas stove can carry warmth anywhere in the house. Since no power source is required, the company says it is recommended as a spot heater for kitchens and bathrooms, as well as for disaster preparedness.
The main unit measures 311 x 208 x 299 mm and weighs approximately 2.6 kg, with a continuous burn time of approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes in standard operation and 3 hours and 50 minutes in eco mode at an air temperature of 20 to 25°C. The warmer starts up quickly after ignition, and warms up in about 1 minute.
Amazon is holding a Smile SALE “All Winter Appliances, Warm Bedding, and More for Sale Advance Sale” until 8:59 p.m. on January 31, 2012. The Smile SALE is scheduled to run from 9:00 a.m. on January 31 to 11:59 p.m. on February 3.
