Hot Toys Japan is holding a pop-up store for season 2 of the Netflix series “Squid Game” at Toys “Sapiens” (6-25-16 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) until February 23. Newly, some items, including a large 48cm tall “Yeonhee Doll Movable Piggy Bank” (25,000 yen), which was popular at the pop-up store’s in-store pre-sale, are now available for pre-order at the online store.
The Yonhee doll’s movable piggy bank is part of the “Piggy Bank Figure” series of movable piggy banks created by Taiwanese manufacturer Beast Kingdom, and can be displayed in two ways: standing or sitting, with five movable arms, legs, and head. The head rotates 360 degrees, just like in the movie, and coins can be inserted through the slit at the back of the head.
Other items available for pre-order include a “light box” (9,800 yen) with the squid game logo and a plush key chain (2,000 yen) with a Yeonhee doll. Both products are scheduled to go on sale in March.
