All cashless and next-generation customer service experience Self-service cash registers and, in some sales areas, the first “centralized cash register” in ECUTE, which allows customers to check out items selected from multiple stores at once. In line with the all-cashless system, terminals that can charge cash to major cashless payment services will also be installed. In addition, “ugo Pro,” a robot from Akihabara-based ugo, will be employed as a customer service and information cast member for the first time in a commercial facility. The robot is equipped with a “guidance robot solution” that uses generative AI, and will be used for guidance, simple customer service, and primary response in case of emergencies. Parallel ecute-Akihabara,” a virtual space where visitors can experience ecute Akihabara on their smartphones or PCs, is also being developed. An original character “ecute squirrel” will appear for the first time in the virtual space, guiding visitors as an AI concierge. In anticipation of inbound demand, the site is also available in multiple languages, allowing customers to ask questions about products, engage in conversation, and consult with the concierge about any problems they may have.

Retro game “PLAY FOR THE FUTURE -AKIBA DONATION-” Focusing on games as a part of Akihabara’s local culture, the retro game “PLAY FOR THE FUTURE -AKIBA DONATION-” has been installed as a local contribution program. When you play the game, the fee will be donated to facilities that help revitalize the Akihabara area.
