Snow Peak plans to open a camp field and a tour base facility in Akagi Park (Mt. Akagi, Fujimi-machi, Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture) in the spring of 2026.
Part of the nature-rich park that stretches around the summit area of Mt. Akagi has been redeveloped into a large wooded field that takes advantage of the original terrain. In addition to free sites and power-supply sites, there are also dog-run sites where you can enjoy camping with your dog, and “JYUBAKO,” a mobile house where even beginners can stay overnight without worries.
The “Land Station,” which will serve as a base facility for touring the area, will be equipped with tourist information, a café with a menu using local ingredients, conference rooms and shower rooms for rent, coin lockers, and a multipurpose plaza. It will also have a Snow Peak directly managed store that will sell tents and other camping gear, functional apparel, local souvenirs, and other items.
The location of the prefectural Akagi Park is at a high altitude, so campers can enjoy cool and comfortable camping in summer, and in winter, they can enjoy the snowy landscape and beautiful starry sky.
