UD Hospitality Management will open the urban hotel Patina Osaka (3-91 Babamachi, Chuo-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture) on May 1. Prior to this, the company began accepting reservations for “Patina Journey,” a suite-only accommodation plan.
Patina Osaka is located between Osaka Castle Park and Namba Palace Site Park. It will be the first Japanese branch of Patina Hotels & Resorts, a luxury hotel by the Capella Hotel Group. The name “Patina” is said to mean “becoming more beautiful and polished as the years go by.
The 20-story hotel has a total of 221 rooms. All rooms are at least 50m2 in size, and the bedboards are decorated with Japanese paper artwork in the shape of the stone walls of Osaka Castle.
The “Patina Journey” package, which is now open for reservations, is an exclusive package that combines a suite room with wellness, cultural and culinary experiences.
Room rates start at 126,000 yen per night (per room per person, service charge and accommodation tax are not included), and only two or more consecutive nights are accepted.
