Telecom Square will open a manned store on March 18 on the International Departure Floor, 4th floor of Kansai International Airport Terminal 1 Building (Senshu Airport North, Izumisano City, Osaka Prefecture).
The company will offer “WiFiBOX,” a self-service Wi-Fi rental service, and “eSIM square,” a prepaid SIM and eSIM sales service, mainly for people departing for overseas destinations, as well as “Wi-Ho!Biz,” a Wi-Fi rental service for corporate clients.
The Wi-FiBOX service allows users to easily rent a Wi-Fi router by making a reservation online and pulling it out of a box at the airport, etc. The Wi-Fi router can be returned at a different location than where it was picked up.
The eSIM square website has a simple design that allows beginners to purchase and use the service without hesitation.
Wi-Ho!Biz is a service that rents Wi-Fi routers and peripherals necessary for business situations to corporate clients. The service combines lines and devices from various countries and offers services tailored to corporate needs, such as the ability to pay on the spot upon return.
With the opening of the new store, the “Kansai Airport Baggage Service” store on the same floor and the unmanned machines located near the E and F counters will be withdrawn on March 31, and services will be consolidated at the new store.
Furthermore, from April 1, “WiFiBOXes” (unattended machines) will be newly installed on the 1st floor of KIX Terminal 1 International and Domestic Arrivals and near the check-in counter on the 1st floor of Itami Airport (3-555 Hotaruike Nishimachi, Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture).
