Business Objectives
This project aims to strengthen the diagnostic, laboratory, and treatment systems at the provincial level by providing medical equipment related to maternal and child health care to seven hospitals, including six regional core hospitals in mainland Tanzania and one regional hospital on Zanzibar Unguja Island, thereby contributing to the improvement of maternal and child health care services.

(a) Details of facilities, equipment, etc.
Equipment] Mobile ultrasound equipment, anesthesia machine, equipment for continuous positive pressure respiration therapy, delivery table, mobile digital radiography equipment, high-pressure steam sterilizer, incubator, etc.
(b) Consulting services/software component includes: detailed design, bidding assistance, procurement supervision, and technical guidance for proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
Maximum Amount of Provision
1,527 million yen
Scheduled implementation period
61 months
The project shall be completed when the equipment is put into service.
