Tokyo Skytree Town will hold “Taiwan Festival in Tokyo Skytree Town 2025,” an event where visitors can enjoy Taiwanese food and culture, from April 5 to June 1.
This year’s event, the third in the series, is the first collaboration in Japan with the local night market “Lahua Night Market” in New Taipei City, Taiwan. In addition to the standard popular menu items such as “San Chiao Mien” and “Lu Lo Han” supervised by Lahua Night Market, new items such as “Taiwan Fresh Lemon Sour”, “Taiwan Railway Bento”, a famous station bento of Taiwan Railway, and “Stinky Tofu”, long-awaited by night market gourmet fans, will be introduced.
In addition, visitors can enjoy Taiwanese massage, fortune-telling, and Taiwanese goods for sale in an authentic setting decorated with lanterns and neon lights in the style of a night market. The venue is “Sky Arena” on the 4th floor of TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN, and admission is free.
From April 11 to May 6, “Koinobori Festival 2025” will be held at various locations in TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN, with approximately 1,000 koinobori (carp streamers) being flown.
At each facility and store, there will be a variety of programs for parents and children to enjoy, including a workshop at the Postal Museum related to Koinobori, a giant chinago streamer at the Sumida Aquarium, a food sample making experience of a cream soda topped with a Koinobori, and a Koinobori candy crafting experience.
