Procedures on MyNa Portal From here, the operation procedures on MyNa Portal will be explained based on the actual screen and guide text. The flow of operations can also be found on the MyNa Portal “Passport Application” page.
Log in to MyNa Portal First, install the MyNa Portal app on your smartphone. After launching the app and entering the four-digit password for the digital certificate for user certification required for login, the screen for reading the My Number Card will appear. Incidentally, there are three types of 4-digit passwords associated with the My Number Card: one for the user certificate, one for the ticket entry assistance, and one for the personal number card. Later, you will also be asked to enter the passwords (6 to 16 alphanumeric digits) for the ticket entry assistance and for the digital certificate for signature, so if you are not familiar with MyNumber Portal operations or if you have set different numbers for each, you should confirm the correct password in advance.
Checking the status of applications The status of applications received can be checked from the inquiry screen (What to do on mynaportal). As of about two hours after the completion of the application, the new passport application and the request for provision of an electronic certificate of family register were in process. Incidentally, if “correction required” is indicated, you need to reapply. If additional procedures are required, a notification will be sent within MyNa Portal.
