Business Objectives
This project aims to stabilize the electricity supply in Tamale, Northern Region, a key city in northern Ghana, by constructing a new substation and distribution network, thereby contributing to socio-economic development and strengthening the livelihood infrastructure of the country.

(a) Details of facilities, equipment, etc.
Construction of a new RCC primary substation (voltage class 34.5/11.5 kV, capacity of 20 MVA x 2 units), construction of a 34.5 kV sub-transmission line from the substation to the existing Tamale Boundary Substation (BSP: Bulk Supply Point) (about 6 km), and construction of an 11.5 kV distribution network from the RCC primary substation (about 7 km) (approx. 7 km) from the RCC primary substation.
