Malaysia Airlines announced the launch of its new Haneda-Kuala Lumpur route on August 14. The new route will be operated twice a week, and will be the fourth Japan route following Narita-Kuala Lumpur, Kansai International Airport-Kuala Lumpur, and Narita-Kota Kinabalu, enabling more flexible travel and connections in the future.
Flight MH36 from Kuala Lumpur to Haneda departs from Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 14:45 (local time). Meanwhile, flight MH37 from Haneda to Kuala Lumpur departs from Haneda Airport at 12:25 a.m. (Japan time). The aircraft is an Airbus A330-300 with 27 business class seats, 16 economy/extra-legroom seats, and 247 economy seats, for a total of 290 seats.
Commenting on the new service, Captain Ismail Izham Ismail, CEO of Malaysia Airlines Group, said, “With our new service to Haneda, the third busiest airline in Asia and the fourth busiest in the world, we hope to increase inbound demand to Malaysia via Haneda and contribute to the further development of Malaysia’s tourism industry. We hope that the new service will contribute to the further development of Malaysia’s tourism industry.
