Takarajimasya will release a “school bag remake” set, a joint project between Isetan Mitsukoshi and Askal Kaban Kobo. The price is 19,800 yen.

Send a school bag filled with memories in a special bag, and a craftsman will transform it into a wallet, coin case, shoulder strap key chain, photo frame, and pass case, and deliver them to your home.

All packing materials and shipping costs for sending school bags and shipping costs for receiving remade products are free of charge, and the purchase includes a mini mini school bag key chain (with reel) and name engraving service on the wallet as a special offer.

Pre-orders will be accepted exclusively through the official store “Treasure Island Channel” until 3:00 p.m. on May 12. After the order is confirmed, a “shipping kit” (application form, shipping instructions, invoice, packing slip, and bag for sending school bags) will be sent around the end of May, and the finished product will be shipped around January 2026.

Ten Isetan Mitsukoshi stores in Japan will also accept the special in-store order.
