The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a Grant Agreement (G/A) with the Government of Ukraine on April 7 for a grant of up to 8.8 billion yen for the Emergency Recovery Plan (Phase 4).

Up to now, JICA has been supporting the people of Ukraine who were forced to live in harsh conditions due to the Russian military aggression and the reconstruction of Ukraine through the “Emergency Recovery Plan”, “Emergency Recovery Plan Phase 2”, “Emergency Recovery Phase 3”, and other programs.
This project provides additional assistance to meet the country’s urgent rehabilitation needs. The project will promote emergency rehabilitation and economic recovery in Ukraine by providing and equipping equipment and materials that will contribute to mine and UXO countermeasures, energy, local government support, and economic revitalization.
