On April 13, the Osaka-Kansai Expo (EXPO 2025) will open in Yumeshima, Osaka. Here we report on scenes from the media day held prior to the opening of the Expo.

Yamato Transport has opened one “Delivery and Temporary Luggage Storage Counter” each near the East and West Gates (inside the venue). Business hours are from 9:00 to 21:00, and the deadline for same-day shipping is 18:00.

Fees for temporary storage are 700 yen for S (~120 size) and 1,200 yen for M (140-200 size). TA-Q-BIN rates vary depending on the size of the package and delivery area. For example, shipping within the Kansai area and from Kansai to Hokuriku, Chubu, Chugoku, and Shikoku is 840 yen.

In addition, the company also accepts Cool Ta-Q-Bin, Ta-Q-Bin Compact, International Ta-Q-Bin, and Airport Ta-Q-Bin shipments.

In addition, the Expo store will feature a “Dreaming Kuroneko’s World” theme, including a photo booth and a display of warning stickers, etc. Until May 31, visitors who use the shipping or temporary luggage storage service will receive a novelty bag that can be obtained only at the Expo.

Ten different warning stickers are distributed to each customer, up to two of which are actually used by the delivery service, but only one of the stickers is fictitious.

At the media day, visitors could also enjoy a meet and greet with two Kuroneko and Shironeko. They can be seen at each store during the event (depending on the time of day, they may be on vacation).
