JR West Japan began selling the “Unlimited Ride Pass for West Japan and Shikoku” on March 28. The pass is available for two consecutive days between April 14 and May 31, and costs 24,240 yen for adults and 12,120 yen for children.
This ticket is available only to J-WEST cardholders (Express Basic) and allows unlimited rides on all JR West and JR Shikoku lines and non-reserved ordinary car seats on the Chizu Kyuko Line. Up to six times on the Sanyo Shinkansen (Shin-Osaka to Hakata), Hokuriku Shinkansen (Tsuruga to Joetsu Myoko), and limited express and express trains on conventional lines (excluding rapid trains) are also permitted.
However, the Tokaido Shinkansen (Shin-Osaka to Kyoto and Maibara), West Express Galaxy, Hanaakari, and Sunrise Izumo/Seto are not eligible. For these trains, additional tickets such as boarding tickets and limited express tickets are required.
Only JR West’s online reservation service “e5489” is available. One person may purchase one ticket per person between one month prior to and on the day of boarding.
