Hotland Nextage will open a day spa directly connected to the platform of Watarase Gorge Railway’s Mizunuma Station on April 17 at 120-1, Mizunuma, Kurohone-cho, Kiryu, Gunma.

This is the third stage of renovation of Mizunuma Village, a stay-and-play outdoor leisure facility by the Hotland Group, which operates such restaurants as Tsukiji Gindako. The center was renovated as a hot spring facility.

Visitors can refresh themselves in the hot spring baths (indoor and outdoor), sauna, and water bath without going outside the station, and can also use the adjoining food and beverage/merchandise corner, such as the “Satoyama Honjin” (Satoyama Honjin), which serves sukiyaki, a specialty of Jyoshu, and local cuisine, and a souvenir store.

In the “area for wearing indoor clothes only,” which can be enjoyed for an additional fee, visitors can soak in the main large open-air bath with a magnificent view of Mount Aragami, as well as the “Kimorebi-an” rest area with daybeds and Ryukyu tatami mats, and a snack corner selling beer, snacks, and other items.

Hours are 9:00 – 21:00 (last admission 20:00). The “Satoyama Honjin” restaurant is open from 11:00 to 21:00 (last order 20:00).
