JR West Japan, Okayama Prefecture, and other organizations, including the Okayama Sunny Land Tourism Campaign Promotion Council, will hold the “Okayama Hare-iro Campaign 2025,” a tourism promotion initiative, from July 19 to October 31, 2012.
Under the catchphrase “Kokoro-Hararebare Okayama-no Tabi,” the tour will feature MEGUMI, an actor from the prefecture, as its image character, and will include art-related tours such as a bus tour around the permanent exhibition of the Mori Art Festival in 2024, a gastronomy experiment to learn culture through food, and a project to enjoy the night view. In conjunction with the campaign, we have also prepared plans that offer discounted prices for accommodations in the prefecture, and have set up two types of plans: one that includes a round-trip JR ticket and accommodations in the prefecture, and the other that includes only accommodations.
The discount is 5,000 yen per night (2,500 yen per night for children) for plans of 10,000 yen or more per night for adults (5,000 yen or more for children), on the condition that two or more people stay at the same hotel. Both with meals and without meals are included in the offer. Travel products will be handled by Nippon Ryoko and tabiwa travel (tabiwa travel offers only JR round-trip and lodging packages). The number of people eligible for the discount is expected to be 6,000.
