Posted on 2025-05-232025-05-25 by Editor in Chief

Rakuten Travel has launched “Rakuten Travel Highway Bus Student Discount,” which offers limited student prices for highway buses throughout Japan. To commemorate the launch, the company is running a campaign in which 10 students selected by lottery can win 10,000 points until 3:59 p.m. on June 3.

Follow the official X account (@RakutenTravelJP) during the period and repost the relevant post to enter. Non-students are also eligible to apply, and winners will be notified via DM.

With the express bus student discount, as an example, the fare between Tokyo and Osaka starts from 6080 yen (usually from 7600 yen for adults), between Nagoya and Osaka from 2160 yen (usually from 2700 yen for adults), between Sapporo and Hakodate/Obihiro/Kushiro, etc. from 3440 yen (usually from 3780 yen for adults). Travelers can save on travel expenses for trips, returning home, guesswork, job hunting, and other activities. The number of applicable routes will be expanded in the future.
