Best Bridal will hold “Peter Rabbit Afternoon Tea – in Green Garden” by opening wedding banquet halls in three cities in Japan (Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka), which are usually closed to the public except for weddings. The event will run from July 2 to August 31 (dates vary by facility).
The limited edition afternoon tea is based on the “Peter Rabbit’s Story” series of picture books. If you make a reservation for the menu, you can participate in a meet and greet (photo session) with Peter Rabbit on a limited schedule.
The sweets will include mango-flavored macaroons inspired by Peter’s blue jacket, a glass dessert featuring a petit parfait of memories of the chamomile tea Peter’s mom brewed him, lemon cake, Uncle McGregor’s hat mousse, peach mousse, and cassis tarts. and two types of postage stamp-style icing cookies.
Three types of savory dishes will be offered: carrot rapé from “Of the Wicked Rabbit,” meat gratin from “Of the Two Pies,” an adaptation of the classic British dish, shepherd’s pie, and turnip potage soup.
They also have special desserts inspired by Zimaima the Duck’s nest egg, as well as a selection of meals for lunch.
