JR East Tohoku Headquarters is implementing the “Tsubasa, Tsunagu. project. This project commemorates the replacement of the Yamagata Shinkansen trains from the E3 series to the E8 series by the end of FY2025.
In conjunction with the project, original goods will be sold at NewDays and other stores in Yamagata Shinkansen stations from June 1. The goods include sundries and boxed lunches featuring the current and former silver painted trains.
From June 17, the first car of one E3 Series train will be decorated with the “Tsubasa, Tsunagu. logo on the first car of one of the E3 Series trains. The schedule will be posted on the website.
Information on future events will be posted on X (@tsudory_jreast) of “Tsudory,” the JR Yamagata area promotion captain, as they become available.
