Meat and Livestock Australia is holding a free tasting event for the general public at the Australia Pavilion at Expo ’70 Kansai in Osaka, Japan, through September. Visitors can experience the appeal of sustainable Aussie beef and Aussie lamb with cooking demonstrations by official ambassadors.
The tasting menu will change monthly, offering original Osaka dishes such as “lamb kushikatsu” made with red meat from Australia. The dates and tasting menus for each month are as follows. Two tasting sessions will be held each day (from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.).
The year 2025 will also mark the 55th anniversary of the first importation of chilled Australian beef to Japan, and the event aims to further promote exchange.
