Hotel New Akao” in Atami (1993-65, Atami, Shizuoka, Japan) is offering an all-you-can-drink one-night buffet plan with hot spring and seasonal delicacies. Prices start at 17,300 yen per person for double occupancy.
The hotel stands on the quay of the scenic “Nishikigaura” and all 350 guests have ocean views. In the “Sparium Nishiki” hot spring bathhouse, guests can enjoy an infinity open-air bath with a view that seems to become one with the ocean.
The buffet venue is Main Dining Nishiki, a huge Showa-era retro theater restaurant. In the evening, guests can enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet of about 90 dishes, including seafood from Izu, local gourmet foods, and steaks grilled in a live kitchen. In the morning, guests can enjoy a Japanese and Western menu full of local ingredients, including kettle bowls that they can prepare themselves.
