The Air Self-Defense Force Hofu North Air Base (Tajima, Hofu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture) announced that the Blue Impulse display flight scheduled for June 8 will be canceled due to various reasons.
The “70th Anniversary Hofu Air Festival – Happy Hofu North” scheduled to be held on the same day will be renamed the “70th Anniversary Hofu North Base Opening Event”. Opening hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (the gates are scheduled to open at 7:30 a.m.).
The Blue Impulse display flights have also been canceled for the 2025 Miho Air Base Air Festival on May 25 and the Kamifurano Garrison 70th Anniversary Commemorative Event on June 1.
