JICA President Akihiko Tanaka met with Prime Minister Russell Misso Dlamini of the Kingdom of Eswatini in Tokyo on June 4.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prime Minister Dlamini thanked JICA for its cooperation in Eswatini.
In response, President Tanaka introduced JICA’s efforts in the fields of education and agriculture in Eswatini, and said that he would like to consider cooperation with a view to further development of the country, with the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) this summer in mind.
In addition, the two sides exchanged views on a wide range of topics, including training programs such as the ABE Initiative and the field of disaster management.
