JR Kyushu High Speed Boat will operate “QUEEN BEETLE”, a high-speed vessel for Japan-Korea routes, from Hakata to Nagasaki on July 16 and August 11.
The Japan-Korea route has been suspended indefinitely due to the spread of the new coronavirus and other factors, and several courses have been set up for the domestic market.
The new route will connect Hakata to Nagasaki in 3 hours and 40 minutes, with one round-trip flight departing at 9:30 a.m. from Hakata and the other at 3:00 p.m. from Nagasaki. One-way fares are 11,000 yen for adults and 5,500 yen for children, with a 3,500 yen surcharge for business class travel (same price for adults and children). Tickets are available by phone and via the Internet, and HIS Kyushu, JR Kyushu Travel Desk, Nishitetsu Travel, and Hankyu Express will each offer tour products.
