The Japan Association for the International Exposition, 2025, provides information on the immediate crowd forecast and the availability of reservations for the date and time of the Expo on its official website under “Daily Update: Information on the Osaka-Kansai Expo Site” (This Week’s Expo).
As of 6:30 p.m. on September 18, all dates from September 19 to October 13 are expected to be “very crowded”. Visitor reservation slots are “no vacancies” (full) at all East and West gates at all times.
However, a limited number of same-day tickets (weekday tickets, special discount tickets, and evening tickets) are available on September 19. In addition, the availability information provided in “This Week at the Expo” does not include date/time-specific exchange tickets and “EXPO Quick” easy-entry tickets sold at convenience stores.
The status of same-day ticket sales after the 20th will be announced on the “This Week at the Expo” website at around 6:30 p.m. the day before.
Reservations will be made for the West Gate only from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. two days prior to the event, and there is a possibility that some slots may become available due to cancellations. If you have tickets that have not yet been reserved, please check the digital ticket site frequently.
