Residents and Workers of Tokyo are invited to apply for the 2025 Tokyo Citizens’ Cruise. Asuka II New Year 2-night/3-day cruise at 25% discount

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Bureau of Port and Harbor will hold the “New Year’s Cruise to and from Yokkaichi, Tokyo” as the 2025 edition of the “Tokyo Citizens’ Cruise,” which allows passengers to board at a lower fare than usual. The cruise is available to residents or workers in Tokyo.

The cruise will take place for three days and two nights from January 7 to 9, 2026, using the Asuka II of Yusen Cruise Lines. In Yokkaichi, the port of call, participants will visit the Ise Jingu Shrine.

Rates are 267,800 yen for Suite C (normally 357,000 yen), 177,800 yen for Balcony D (normally 237,000 yen), and 174,000 yen for Balcony E (normally 232,000 yen), all at 25% off the regular rate. Applications will be accepted by lottery via a form on the website. The deadline for applications is November 3.
