JAL announced the launch of its Narita – Delhi route on January 17, 2026, and began accepting reservations for tickets on October 6.
The aircraft will be a Boeing 787-8 and will operate daily. The schedule is designed to allow smooth transfers to the seven North American destinations served by Narita Airport.
The new route will bring the number of JAL flights between Japan and India to three, including the Haneda – Delhi route and the Narita – Bengaluru route. JAL has announced that it has agreed to code-share these three routes with Indigo, which has the largest market share in India.
