Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Kinugawa Kanko Hotel (359-2 Kinugawa Onsen Taki, Nikko-shi, Tochigi Prefecture) launched the “Oedo Three Star Buffet” on October 8.
The menu features seafood directly from the market, brand beef, local cuisine, and other ingredients of higher quality than usual. The first three facilities to offer this plan were Awazu Grand Hotel (Ishikawa Prefecture), Premium Shirahama Saichoraku (Wakayama Prefecture), and Hotel Ranpu (Nagasaki Prefecture), and now Premium Kinugawa Kanko Hotel has been added to the list of participating facilities. The hotel is now accepting reservations for the “Oedo 3-Star Buffet Plan with 2 Meals per Night.
The dinner lineup includes grilled Japanese black beef loin served hot in a live kitchen, nigirizushi of wild tuna, broiled eel, all-you-can-eat boiled red snow crab legs, and steamed seafood such as scallops, abalone, and oysters. Tochigi’s specialty nira soba, Utsunomiya gyoza, yuba sashimi from Tochigi Prefecture, and Nasu chicken abura-gon-chicken can also be enjoyed.
Desserts include seasonal fruits directly from the market, more than 10 kinds of cakes, and Haagen-Dazs ice cream.
An autumn fair menu is also offered until November 30. The menu includes nigiri (hand-rolled sushi), bonito tataki, matsutake mushroom rice, and for breakfast, a charcoal-grilled slow-cooked swordfish.
